This is a full-time non-exempt position that reports directly to the Deputy CFO.

Position Summary
Performs basic and intermediate functions for all areas of accounting connected to a multi-clinic medical services non-profit organization based in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Typical Physical Demands
Requires sitting for long periods of time. Some bending, lifting, stooping, and stretching required. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as computer keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and calculator.
Typical Working Conditions
Normal office and clinic environment. Although unlikely, job may occasionally require evening and/or weekend work.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
- Researches, tracks, and resolves accounting problems.
- Compiles and sorts invoices and checks.
- Issues checks for accounts payable.
- Mails and otherwise distributes checks.
- Records business transactions and keys daily worksheets to the general ledger system.
- Records charges and refunds.
- Supports accounting personnel.
- Inputs vouchers, invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other records.
- Files and tallies deposits.
- Works with computers, calculators, databases, and bank accounts.
- Matches invoices to work orders.
- Processes bills for payment.
Performance Requirements
- Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and knowledge of Statutory accounting principles.
- Able to work effectively in a team setting.
- Able to work with minimal up-front guidance and take ownership of assigned work.
- Must have strong proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience
Must have at least three years of related professional-level work experience.

None required.
