Q: What are you reading?

A: “Lethal White,” by Robert Galbraith and “Empire of Pain,” by Patrick Keefe.

Q: What is your favorite restaurant or place to take clients?

A: Grape Street Café or Peet’s Coffee.

Q: How do you decompress after a long week?

A: I am a passionate trail runner, even in the summer. I run early morning in Red Rock. I rock climb in cooler months.

Q: What do you do to workout or what do you love most about living/working in Las Vegas?

A: I live about 15 minutes from the magical Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area and take my dogs for a run every morning. I love my work and am beyond grateful that I have a job I love, with people that I enjoy so work/life balance is less complicated.

Q: What is the biggest challenge facing Southern Nevada?

A: Climate change in general and access to clean water more specifically. We’ve seen the devastation of wildfires, the drought to our beloved desert and without quick and substantive changes at the federal level, there is not a good way out. As with most systemic changes to the negative, it will be our poor communities and communities of color that will hurt the most and this is wrong. Just wrong.
