FirstMed Health and Wellness is a nonprofit community healthcare clinic providing mental health and preventive and primary health care services to individuals and families in Southern Nevada. Founded in 2009, FirstMed Health and Wellness was the vision of a group of physicians and professionals who wanted to serve the uninsured and under-insured population.
FirstMed Health and Wellness is a 501(c)(3) Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). In 2023, FirstMed Health and Wellness was recognized among the top 5 percent of all FQHCs in the U.S.
It is the core belief of FirstMed Health and Wellness that a vulnerable population can be empowered through increased access to comprehensive healthcare services that help people become and stay employed, have adequate resources for healthy lives, and live in a healthy home and environment.

Angela Quinn
Chief Executive Officer
Angela is committed to bringing high-quality, compassionately led health care to low-income and underserved communities. Since she became CEO in 2016, Angela has led FirstMed Health and Wellness in expanding its services to Medicaid patients across Southern Nevada. Most notably, she developed FirstMed Health and Wellness’ mental and behavioral health services following the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, when the need for mental health care increased substantially across the valley.
On the day of the shooting, Angela led the deployment of mental health professionals to Southern Nevada hospitals and hotels. Under Angela’s guidance, FirstMed Health and Wellness provided mental health services to over 500 individuals and their families and organized temporary housing for 38 people who lost their homes as a result of the shooting.
Angela is a veteran community developer with demonstrated skill and expertise in both the community and economic development sectors. Her vast experience in health care includes the creation and expansion of program and services offered, in particular around issues of nonprofit “turnarounds”, health care, capacity building and sustainability. In total, Angela and her team has developed roughly $100 million in capital projects and another $100 million in programs.
Lilnetra Grady
Chief Medical Officer
Lilnetra, a family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience in the health care field, joined FirstMed Health and Wellness in 2018 and was named CMO in 2020. In an effort to expand mental and behavioral health services, Lilnetra helped lead the effort to build FirstMed Health and Wellness’ mental health department and obtained the Substance Abuse & Prevention Treatment Agency (SAPT) certification for FirstMed Health and Wellness and its affiliates. In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, she currently leads FirstMed Health and Wellness’ Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) program and the Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) initiative for patients at risk for HIV infection.
Lilnetra received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Rockford University in Rockford, Illinois, and her master’s degree in nursing from Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Before relocating to Las Vegas, she spent the majority of her nursing career in her home state of Illinois and the inner city of Chicago.
Icy DuCreay
Chief Financial Officer
Icy has more than 20 years’ experience in nonprofit accounting services. Since joining FirstMed Health and Wellness in 2018, she has served as a Controller, the clinic’s Deputy CFO and now CFO. Icy’s responsibilities include implementing policies and procedures to ensure FirstMed Health and Wellness is following grant regulations, streamlining accounting functions throughout the company and collaborating with grant fundraisers, monitors and auditing firms to develop and manage internal controls for compliance.
Icy received her master’s degree in Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management and her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Davis in Sociology – Organizational Studies.
Sonya Harris
Vice President
Sonya became CFO at FirstMed Health and Wellness in 2016 and recently stepped into her new role as Vice President. For more than 25 years, Sonya worked with FirstMed Health and Wellness CEO Angela Quinn as a Fiscal Project Manager, assisting Angela in a number of nonprofit “turnarounds” and health care organizations. Prior to joining FirstMed Health and Wellness, Sonya served as an interim CFO for a Southern Nevada Critical Access Hospital (CAH), as well as an advisor for two other nonprofit organizations, in which she helped develop their federally funding infrastructure.
Sonya is a certified Federal Grant Manager and currently leads FirstMed Health and Wellness’ employment development. She has been recognized statewide for her ability to handle large volumes of funding from multiple federal funding sources.
Myesha Wilson
Chief Operating Officer
Myesha has roughly two decades of experience in behavioral health care and is dedicated to improving and expanding behavioral and mental health services for adults and children. As COO, she oversees FirstMed Health and Wellness’ behavioral health department, which currently accounts for more than half of the clinic’s total appointments. During her time as COO, Myesha has led the expansion of FirstMed Health and Wellness’ behavioral health program, helped provide hospitalization for those in need and built a comprehensive mental health curriculum for children.
Prior to joining FirstMed Health and Wellness, Myesha served as the executive director of two children’s non-profit organizations in Clark County. She received her master’s degree in Special Education with an emphasis on Emotional Disorder and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
