Behavioral Health Screenings
Do you feel very happy and energized on some days and very sad and depressed on other days? Do you think you may be suffering from a mental disorder? Our providers understand the importance of screening for behavioral/mental health disorders and integration of mental health and primary care services in an environment where you are treated with respect and confidentiality is protected.
Screening for colorectal, breast and cervical cancer can reduce the likelihood of severe illness and death through early detection of cancers and pre-cancers. We provide and encourage access to cancer screening for all our patients, insured and uninsured. For the eligible, uninsured, programs are available for free breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening.
Infectious Disease and STI Screening
Fighting and preventing infectious disease is much easier than in the past. Aside from proper hygiene and proper precautions, we offer screening for tuberculosis (PPD, Quantiferon and Chest X-rays), HIV, hepatitis B and C, pertussis, herpes, MMR to name a few. If necessary, vaccinations are available at the clinic to boost your protection against certain infections. We offer these services also to students and employees who require evidence of screening and immunization.
If you suspect that you have a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI), testing is done in a compassionate environment where your confidentiality is ensured. Many STI can be treated with antibiotics, while other STI long term complications can be controlled with early detection and treatment. We offer screening for the following:
- Human Papilloma Virus (HPV)
- Hepatitis B and C
